BrandHowz is a discovery and listing platform helping businesses find independent professionals, creators, studios and agencies. BrandHowz is responsible for the personal data it collects through the Platform (the “Data Fiduciary” under Indian law). Contact: hello.brandhowz@gmail.com.

• Professional application/profile information, including name, business/professional name, contact details, location/service area and services.
• Portfolio/website links and, where enabled, logo/profile image.
• Business enquiry information (such as name, email, phone number and message) and communications submitted through BrandHowz.
• Administrative application/listing status information.
• Technical, device, browser, log, cookie or analytics information where actually used.

Please do not share sensitive information such as financial, health or government ID details.

• Process professional applications and manage listings.
• Publish approved professional profile information.
• Facilitate business enquiries/contact.
• Operate, secure, maintain and improve BrandHowz.
• Prevent misuse, fraud, spam and security incidents.
• Meet applicable legal obligations.
• Send you messages about your application, listing or enquiry.

We use your data with your consent, or where you have given it to us for a clear purpose (such as sending an enquiry), or where the law requires. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; if you do, we will unpublish your listing. We do not sell your personal data.

Information intentionally included in an approved professional listing may be publicly visible, such as professional/business name, services, description, portfolio links and approved profile imagery. Published listings can be seen by anyone and may appear in search engines. If a listing is removed we will take it down, but we cannot control copies others may have made.

Sharing: We share data only with the professional you contact, with service providers that help us run the Platform (such as hosting, email and form tools, some of which may store data outside India), and with authorities when the law requires.

Retention: We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law (including basic logs for at least one year), and then delete it.

Security: We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, and will inform you and the authorities of any data breach as required by law.

Your rights: You can ask to see, correct, update or delete your data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, or raise a complaint by emailing hello.brandhowz@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

BrandHowz is intended for businesses and working professionals and is not directed to children. You must be 18 or older to use the Platform. If we learn that we hold data of someone under 18, we will delete it.

We use essential cookies to run the Platform. We may update this Policy and will post the latest version on the Platform.
