Last updated: September 27, 2026
About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the BrandHowz website and related services (the “Platform”). BrandHowz is a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“BrandHowz”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing the Platform, applying to be listed, submitting a professional application or sending an enquiry, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a signature.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. If you use the Platform for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.
1. What BrandHowz is
BrandHowz is a discovery and listing platform that helps businesses find independent professionals, creators, studios and agencies offering branding, creative, digital, marketing, PR, influencer and growth services. BrandHowz does not itself provide those professional services. BrandHowz hosts listings provided by professionals and helps businesses contact them. No payments, bookings, checkout or commissions take place on the Platform, and it is currently free for both businesses and professionals.
2. Independent professionals
Professionals listed on BrandHowz are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of BrandHowz. Any engagement between a business and a professional is separate from BrandHowz. Professionals are responsible for their own services and for following the laws that apply to them.
3. Discovery only; no guarantee
BrandHowz provides discovery and connection functionality. Our review checks that a listing looks complete and suits the Platform; we do not verify identity, qualifications or claims. Approval for listing is not certification, accreditation, endorsement or a guarantee of credentials, quality, availability, pricing, suitability, conduct or results. Businesses are responsible for evaluating and selecting professionals and should do their own checks before engaging anyone. No one pays to be listed or ranked higher.
4. Professional applications
- Professionals are responsible for accurate, current and lawful information, and should keep it up to date.
- Professionals must have the necessary rights for submitted logos, images, portfolio material and links, including permission from clients or people shown in their work where needed.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or listing.
- BrandHowz may approve, request changes to, reject, suspend, unpublish or remove listings as appropriate and subject to law.
- By applying, professionals agree that we may publish their approved listing and forward enquiries to them.
- Professionals must follow applicable advertising and endorsement disclosure rules, and must not offer services that require a license or registration they do not hold.
5. Business use
- Businesses must use BrandHowz for genuine discovery and enquiry purposes.
- Businesses must not use the platform for spam, abusive conduct, misleading activity or unauthorised bulk marketing, including collecting professionals’ contact details for marketing.
- Enquiries you send are shared with the professional you contact, so please do not include sensitive personal information.
6. Direct engagements
BrandHowz is not a party to agreements between businesses and professionals. Scope, fees, payments, delivery, cancellations, intellectual property and disputes relating to professional services are between those parties. BrandHowz does not collect payments for professional services.
7. Intellectual property
Professionals retain ownership of submitted content, subject to third-party rights. By submitting content, professionals allow BrandHowz, free of charge and worldwide, to host, display and adapt it (for example, resizing images) on the Platform, and to show their listing when promoting the Platform, for as long as the listing is live. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, email us at hello.brandhowz@gmail.com.
8. Prohibited conduct / removal
You must not post or share anything that belongs to someone else without permission; is obscene, pornographic, harassing, hateful, defamatory or harmful to children; infringes intellectual property; is false or misleading, or impersonates anyone (including through AI-generated or altered content); promotes money laundering, gambling or online money games; threatens the unity, integrity, security or sovereignty of India, public order or relations with other countries; contains malware; or is otherwise unlawful.
Impersonation, material misrepresentation, unlawful or infringing content, fraud, spam, harassment, abuse or other prohibited activity may result in suspension or removal, subject to applicable law. We may keep related records for as long as the law requires.
9. Liability
The Platform is provided “as is”. BrandHowz is not responsible for the services, conduct or agreements of professionals or businesses, or for any indirect loss. As the Platform is free, our total liability to you is limited to INR 500. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be excluded under law.
10. Removing listings and access
Professionals can ask us to remove their listing at any time by emailing hello.brandhowz@gmail.com. We may suspend or remove listings or access if these Terms or the law are breached.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you may have to approach a consumer commission or other forum under law.
12. Contact and grievances
For questions, complaints, requests to remove content, or privacy requests, email our Grievance Officer at hello.brandhowz@gmail.com. We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within the time required by law (currently 7 days for most complaints, and faster for urgent content complaints). If you are unhappy with our decision on a content complaint, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee under the IT Rules.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the latest version on the Platform. We will remind users of these Terms and our Privacy Policy at least once a year.
